return of the chun glaze

using ash as a component of the chun glaze means that it is subject to the vagaries of the changing nature of different batches of ash: lately it has been a bit \'off\' due to the fireplace ash I had available. I have now removed the ash and replaced it with a Saponite clay (fusible with an analysis not dissimilar to softwood ashes) and the result has been excellent

looks very good, i\'m playing around with chun to use along with my runny ash glaze but so far have only got a greyish celadon
